On Humans of New York blog there is a picture of a little girl and her mother. the mother explains "Even if you punish he, she's singing two minutes later." This shows the joy of a child. No matter what the circumstances are, she still sings. one special thing about the post was that it did not take place in New York. These people were in the streets of Nairobi, Kenya. Both of them were wearing pretty dresses and the little girl had pigtails. The girl who always sings was sitting next to her mother smiling. In a society where success and happiness is judged by the size of your house, the label on your clothes, or the maker of your car, this little girl proves our assumptions to be wrong. More than likely, the family lives in abject poverty living hand to mouth, and yet she sings. Perhaps we, in the richest of nations, could, learn something.

I cannot agree more on that. Children are always full of joy and light.
